The Behavioral Health Business System Analyst, Principal will report to the Sr Manager, Behavioral Health. In this role you will be responsible for strategy, set-up and design of transformational behavioral health reporting capabilities including population health analysis, data architecture, and analysis of key population health strategies. • Be involved in the most complex and abstract work items that significantly impact a business area or multiple business areas
• Influence and drive the development of metrics to support proper scope and business case outcomes
• Define requirements modeling standards to include definition of business needs, how and when to reuse functional requirements, and business scope of non-functional requirements
• Drive measurable improvements that impact people, process and tools across the department and PMLC delivery
• Develop training materials and programs to ensure consistent high-quality delivery of business and functional requirements
• Collaborate with the various data teams to define and build a comprehensive Behavioral Health data strategy
• Play a trusted strategic advisor role to business and help derive value from data and analytics, building strong relationships along the way
• Monitor execution efforts, provide visibility to stakeholders across delivery cycle, and ensure needs are being met
• Understand and support needs, define / drive data and analytics strategy and priorities, and collaborate to ensure the successful delivery of data and analytic solutions to support strategic and operational objectivesQualifications - ExternalYour Knowledge and Experience
  • BS/BA degree (advanced degree preferred)
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer and behavioral health data across domains (claims, provider, member, etc.) and how it can be leveraged to support operations and guide strategic priorities
  • Experience with SQL Databases, no-SQL databases, cloud technologies, analytical programming languages, data movement / transformation, data lineage, etc.
  • Proven experience leveraging data and analytics to improve operational performance
  • Proven leadership skills - ability to motivate a diverse range of stakeholders to quickly achieve results (including senior leadership and executives)
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and group facilitation skills required, with the ability to convey complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand at all levels of an organization
