CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER - ( SACRAMENTO, CA ) Title: Construction Project Engineer (Commercial or Multifamily Group Up Construction) Location: Sacramento, California Compensation: Highly competitive base plus great benefits, performance bonus, and future opportunity for professional growth and advancement Term: Long Term Full Time Direct Hire TJG Construction General Contracting actively seeks a fast learning and self-motivated Construction Project Engineer to join our thriving Sacramento, CA office. This Construction Project Engineer will be assisting the construction project manager and site superintendent and be responsible for maintaining daily logs, submittals, RFIs, subcontracts, schedules, change orders, material procurement, logistics, as-builts, and closeout. Construction Project Engineers with commercial, retail, or multifamily construction project background and experience are desired, but not required. The ideal Construction Project Engineer will be detail oriented, have the ability to multitask and be organized team players who can deliver in high pressure situations. Construction Project Engineer Skill Set and Experience Needed: Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management and/or Business is preferred. Degree can be substituted by equivalent directly related vertical ground up Construction Project Engineering experience. Minimum of 1+ years of ground up vertical building construction experience preferable pertaining to commercial or multifamily projects Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required; knowledge of Prolog and MS Project a plus. Understanding of construction plans and schematics Effective written and verbal communication skills The ability to thrive working independently as well as part of a team Strong organization and time management skills All candidates must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without the need of employee sponsorship or Visa transfer.
