Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : General Equivalency Diploma Travel Percentage : 0%Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES--- Presorts and process outgoing mail.--- Carries out established procedures in handling incoming and outgoing mail, arranging it by various criteria, scanning and distributing it and operating equipment associated with mail activities.--- Verifies, documents and researches inquiries related to incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Ensures checks are bundled and run through remittance processing equipment in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Retrieve historical and current records according to the established procedures and delivery methods.
  • Retrieve files for return mail, sort and distribute according to internal procedures.--- Responsible for operating various applications and equipment.--- Works within limited time requirements.--- Other related duties assigned as needed.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GEDGENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES--- Capacity to lift or move up to 30 pounds--- Proficient written and oral communication skills in dealing with employees or external customers/clients--- Knowledge of office policies and procedures--- Knowledge of mail services process--- Proficiency in using PCs, postage meter and other general office equipment experience--- Proficiency to work independentlyFIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTIONExperienced support role. May oversee the area in the absence of the lead/supervisor. Perform quality checks throughout the entire mail processing and distribution job. May monitor workflow. Make recommendations for process improvements as appropriate. Coaches and mentors junior staff. Typically requires a minimum of four or more years mail processing and distribution experience with at least two years as a Mail Processing Associate II.FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $18.06 - $31.18 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.
