Job Description:

We are looking for a full time Sandblaster/Shop Laborer. We are looking for someone who can show up on time and work hard. We are looking for someone with a good work ethic who will take their position seriously and show pride in their work. Candidates for this position must be able to listen to directions and retain those directions to complete daily task with no supervision. Experience is needed but we are willing to train the right person.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm. For the months of May through August summer work hours are 6 am to 2:30 pm.

**** THIS IS A VERY LARBOR INTENSIVE POSITION ***** Heavy Lifting, Standing all day, working in the warehouse environment ****

Job Duties:

--- Use of various media blasting techniques that will include but are not limited to media blasting, masking, sanding, scraping, cleaning, washing, and material handling

--- Blasting of metal parts to remove rust, coatings, contaminants, grease & oils to provide a clean surface for powder coating of the parts

--- Loads blaster hoppers and reclaim units with abrasive materials, cleans booth daily of used media

--- Maintaining and cleaning filters as needed

--- Keeping tools and supplies in their designated areas

--- Sweep floors, empty garbage, recycle cardboard & stack pallets around the blast booth area

--- Load and unload parts or product

--- Other duties may be assigned

--- Meet production schedule daily


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
