The starting salary for this position ranges from $16.00 to $18.80/hour. This position includes free meals at communities. Position Summary: The Waitperson is responsible for the set-up, delivery and clean-up of the meal period for which they are responsible. The Waitperson is also responsible for providing service in a friendly and congenial manner. Eskaton Gold River is a picturesque senior living community consisting of 55 assisted living units, 23 memory care units and 17 pre-memory care units. The Gold River staff focuses on wellness, nutrition and socialization to enhance the life experience of each resident. Many members of our team have been with us for more than eight years and are part of the tight-knit community that residents enjoy. Eskaton's dietary department offers desirable shifts on a regular weekly schedule, and our teams work together to prepare and serve gourmet meals for our residents in a collaborative, welcoming and positive environment. Qualifications Education: High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D., preferred. Training and Experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred. California Food Handler. The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen.
