Job Description:

Security Officers at Parkwest Casinos will monitor entrances and exits to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry. As a Security Officer you will be responsible for constantly monitoring the casino floor, storage areas and parking lots. A successful Security Officer will have keen observation skills, which they use to detect suspicious activities. Security Officers are expected to direct persons who cause a disturbance to leave the property. In addition, all Parkwest Casino team members are expected to provide excellent customer service to our valued guests.

Performance Objectives

1. Have a valid BSIS Security Guard card by first week of employment.

2. Ability to write an accurate detailed report.

3. Ability to use surveillance system quickly and effectively within two weeks of employment.

4. Deal with customers and team members professionally.

5. Count chips with a limited number of mistakes.

6. Ability to identify valid forms of government issued IDs.

7. Ability to promote positive interactions with guests through sincere greeting and communications in accordance with Parkwest Casino's Culture of Excellence.
