- -Now Hiring!!CNC Machinist Rancho Cordova, CA -Seeking an experienced, self-motivated CNC Machinist to carry out milling and lathe operations. This position offers a variety of job complexity within the prototype environment. Will be cutting low volume production parts and materials such as steel, aluminum, plastics, and other various exotic materials. -Job Summary:
--- - - -Setup and operate CNC mills and lathes, include Hurco, Haas, Hardinge, and ProtoTRAK
--- - - -Select the proper cutting tools needed to machine parts based on part geometry
--- - - -Determine and design custom fixtures for work holding requirements
--- - - -Use basic measuring equipment to perform quality inspections based on blueprint specifications
--- - - -Produce prototypes, sample parts, and small run production parts
--- - - -Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional work environmentEducation and Experience: -
--- - - -High school diploma or equivalent required, 3-5 year Machining Degree preferred
--- - - 3-5 years of relevant setup and operating experience in related industry
--- - - -Lathe experience a plus but not required
--- - - -Basic understanding of multi axis (3+1 and/or 3+2 indexing) machining concepts
--- - - -Proficient knowledge of blueprint reading, tight tolerance machining, and geometric dimensioning (GD&T), Fusion360Candidate Will Offer: -
