Yoh Scientific is seeking a Biotech Manufacturing Assembler to support our client, a molecular diagnostics manufacturer in Hercules, CA. The Impact Keep production moving by receiving/verifying materials and preparing calibrated equipment. Assemble components and full kits; dispense dry and wet materials with accuracy. Apply labels, seal bags, cap and torque bottles, and maintain complete GMP documentation. Verify quality using visual, automated, electronic, and mechanical inspections. Protect people and product by managing scrap/waste correctly and enforcing 5S and safety. Transport supplies with motorized and non-motorized equipment as directed. Maintain point-of-use inventory and promptly escalate abnormal production issues to the Lead. Growth & Opportunity This is a contract role designed to get you in the door and making a difference quickly, with potential to extend or convert based on business needs and performance. The Nuts and Bolts Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Pay: $21.00/hour (W2) Contract Length: 3 months, possibility of extension or conversion Location: Hercules, CA Recruiter: Ery Baniqued What It Takes High school diploma or equivalent. 0–3 years of experience; 2 years preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Comfort reading/writing and following SOPs and work instructions. Foundational math, troubleshooting, and computer skills; SAP transactions are a plus. Hands-on experience with manual, semi-automatic, and automatic production equipment preferred. Team-first mindset, flexibility, meticulous attention to detail, and strong quality focus. Environment & Safety Physical activities include standing, sitting, reaching, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, talking, and hearing. Occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs; requires close/color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. May work near moving mechanical parts; potential exposure to chemicals/hazardous materials and risk of electric shock. Work may include time in freezers/coolers and handling dry ice; moderate noise levels; PPE worn as required.
