Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products. 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. Experience developing accessible technologies. Experience with database internals, database language theories, database design, SQL and database programming. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Support and implement new promotion experiences across shopping, merchant and search surfaces. Work across product areas with maps, wallet, and ads teams to launch new promotion experiences. Work directly with a variety of cross-functional team members (UX, Business Development, Strategy, Product, Program etc.) to design and implement features. Build and support features used by merchant communities on Google ecosystem. Simplify and automate the workflows to scale with the growth.
