Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities • Work with database team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models• Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy• Optimize/update logical and physical data models to support the new requirements• Maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadata• Create data cataloging capabilities• Work with business and technical SME's to identify data sources, destination and data exchange methods.• Engage with business users to assess their information needs.• Review the business process and conceptualize the entities that interoperate within the business process.• Develop entity relationship diagrams that represent the connections among the entities.• Review business and IT data requirements through key data to be exchanged across all platforms and tools.• Define data sources and identify key architecture and infrastructure to support required interfaces and integrations. Your future duties and responsibilities: Qualifications • Proficiency in industry standard techniques for data modeling, including knowledge of modeling methodologies and techniques.• Understanding of and experience with standard interface methods (API's, ETL, data transmission methods, etc.)• High-level experience with data warehouse, data lake, and similar systems and concepts.• Consultative, facilitation, and consensus building skills.
