Job Description:
Engineer IIThis will be a hybrid role. Two days will be onsite
and 3 days remote but this will vary depending on the work.In this
role, you have the opportunity to design, develop and maintain
Intravascular Ultrasound Consoles and Patient Interface modules.
You are responsible for planning and tracking of electrical design,
ensures risks are mitigated and communicated to stakeholders. You
will ensure that your design is consistent with the higher level
architecture and requirements.You are responsible forDesign,
implementation, test and integration of his unit in accordance with
the higher level Requirement and - Design specifications, easy to
maintain, extendible (components and modules) and re-usableThe
Electrical designer ensures that his design is consistent with the
higher level architecture and requirements. Jobholder ensures that
his design is understood by the Electrical Architects, and verifies
the correct implementationEnsures that there is proper
documentation for the developed designConducts Concept &
Feasibility studies. Leads the introduction of new
technologiesEnsures the mutual consistency and efficient
integration of the separate components in modular design that meets
the product specificationEnsures that his design modules meet the
product certification requirementsIs abreast of / participates in
standards identification responsible for designingNetworks with
colleagues within BU and beyond and maintains external contacts for
benchmarking, new technologies, tooling, design methods, and
reflects them to the HW-groupContributes to technology roadmaps and
other strategic related activitiesDraws up personal schedule and
reports on progress.Contributes to the Work Breakdown Structure/
the planning process of his/her area.Keeps abreast of technical
developments in own field through study of literature and technical
contacts.Maintains product and company reputation by complying with
country specific regulationsTo succeed in this role, you should
have the following skills and experience:Completed engineering
studies at university level; BE/BTech/ME/Mtech in
Electronics/Electrical with 5+ years of experienceKnowledge of
state-of-the-art methods & tools (CAD/simulation) used in
electrical designKnowledge of Digital Electronics and/or Analog
circuitsKnowledge of Electrical Hardware TestingKnowledge of
Designing Cable HarnessKnowledge of a specific area of technology
or product feature.Peripheral interfaces like Ethernet and USBCPLD
s and FPGA design is added advantageAbility to understand and debug
problems across hardware boundariesExperience in the field of
Medical Devices product design e.g. ultrasound is added
advantageKnowledge of IEC 60601 standards is added
advantageDisciplined team worker, ability to work
independentlyAbility to present ideas and to convince project team
membersBe structured and self-organizedExcellent communication
skillsTeam player, leadership skills and drive for resultsQuality
