Job Description:

Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay Business Journal, is looking for a Human Resources Generalist / Business Partner (Emphasis on Recruiting) to join our HR team at either our corporate office in Novato or administrative offices in Rancho Cordova.

The Human Resources Generalist provides human resources support to employees and management in the organization in the areas of talent management, recruiting, compensation, benefits, retirement benefits, executive benefits, workers compensation, safety, training, ethics, employee relations, payroll and personnel, diversity and Inclusion, performance management, and human resources information system administration. May work across all areas and/or specialize in one or more areas. Works closely with HR Manager and/or Director of HR in developing/communicating human resources plans, programs, processes, policies, procedures and projects across the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

* Actively pursue knowledge of business practices, policies, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business.
* Ensure the company is in compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by following policies and procedures. Conduct periodic audits and maintain accurate records.
* Maintain a working knowledge of legislation affecting human resources programs and best practices, and be proactive in recommending amendments to policies and programs.
* Assisting HR team with full cycle recruiting including posting, screening, interviewing, background, offer preparation and onboarding.

* Coordinate new hire orientation and on-boarding programs.

* Perform administrative duties including but not limited to: business correspondence, record keeping, filing system, payroll processing invoice verification etc.

* Establish effective working relationships with other internal departments - research and respond to HR questions in a timely manner.

* Design HR related forms and coordinate the maintenance of employee files and HR records including AAP program, benefits, job descriptions.

* Perform HR review of assigned Performance Management process.

* Performs other related duties or projects as assigned.

* Acts as liaison and content expert for systems in assigned area(s).

* Perform administration processes on monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis for assigned area(s).

* Be a resource for employee and employer questions on human resources plans and issues.

* Process and tracking Leaves of Absence request.

* Other duties as assigned.

Professional Experience: 5 - 7 years related experience and/or training. Experience in and a passion for recruiting is a must!

Educational Experience: Associate's degree (B.A.) from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training
