Job Description:
The Sacramento Marriott located in Rancho Cordova is a unique
Full Service hotel with 14,000 square feet of meeting space and
full catering capabilities. On site is a Full service Starbucks
offering discounts to our Team Members. We are a top ranked hotel
on TripAdvisor Popularity in Rancho Cordova- Centrally located
between Sacramento and Folsom with easy freeway & light rail
access.
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food efficiently and
consistently; assist in maintenance of kitchen. Is also responsible
in overseeing the preparation of restaurant food to ensure timely
delivery, food quality, consistency and presentation. Open
availability needed for am and/or pm shifts Monday-Sunday.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
-High School Diploma or equivalent; Culinary degree a plus
-3 years line cook experience in a fast paced restaurant/kitchen
environment; Hotel restaurant experience a plus
-Pantry, grill and saute experience a plus
-California Food Handler Card
-Adheres to food safety and sanitation standards
-Excellent communication and organization skills
-Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team
-Relevant military experience in a comparable capacity
