Duration: 13 Weeks Contract Shift: Day Shift (12-hour shifts, 3
days/week) Pay Rate: $40 – $44 per hour Experience Required:
Minimum 2 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and
compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to
join a healthcare facility in Hayward, CA. The COTA will work under
the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help
patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and
regain independence. Key Responsibilities: Implement treatment
plans developed by the Occupational Therapist (OT) Assist patients
with therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength, and
coordination Help patients develop, recover, and maintain daily
living and work skills Monitor patient progress and report updates
to the supervising OT Educate patients and families on therapy
techniques and home exercise programs Maintain accurate and timely
documentation in EMR systems Ensure a safe and supportive
environment during therapy sessions Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams Required Qualifications: Active
COTA license in the state of California Graduate of an accredited
Occupational Therapy Assistant program Minimum 2 years of COTA
experience BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Strong
knowledge of therapy techniques and patient care practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
