advanced imaging capabilities. The medical center functions as a
Level IV trauma center equipped with modern imaging equipment and
PACS systems to support emergency department, inpatient, and
outpatient diagnostic needs. About the Facility Location The region
offers diverse recreational opportunities and outdoor activities.
Visitors can explore various regional attractions including natural
areas with hiking trails and coastal access. The area features
visitor centers and educational experiences alongside year-round
outdoor recreation opportunities. About the Clinician's Workday The
diagnostic radiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic
imaging services at a critical access hospital, interpreting
studies across emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient
settings. Primary responsibilities include managing 80-100 general
diagnostic cases daily while performing light interventional
procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, drainages, CT
biopsies, and fluoroscopy examinations. The clinician will work day
shifts covering multiple imaging modalities including plain film,
ultrasound, CT, MR, and nuclear medicine with no call requirements.
The position requires board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
Additional Job Details Case Load/PPD: 80-100 general diagnostic
cases Support Staff: Radiology technologists, imaging assistants,
and administrative support staff Patient Population: All Ages
