Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Chico, CA Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Unit / Critical Care | Night Shift | California Our client is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide expert care in the Cardiovascular Unit, supporting patients before and after cardiac surgery, as well as those requiring telemetry monitoring. This full-time position includes 12-hour night shifts starting at 1900, with holiday coverage and floating to Med/Surg as needed. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-operative, post-operative, and ongoing care for cardiovascular patients Manage complex cases including arrhythmias, congestive heart failure (CHF), myocardial infarction (MI), and post-procedure recovery Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered, high-quality care Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR system Float to Med/Surg and other units as assigned Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care Participate in holiday and weekend coverage Required Qualifications: Active California RN license in good standing Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience Proficiency with EPIC charting system Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills Core Competencies: Expertise in cardiac and critical care nursing Patient-focused and collaborative approach Flexibility to adapt to unit floating needs Professionalism and ethical practice Strong teamwork and communication Additional Information: Assignment length: 13 weeks Unit floating to other areas including Med/Surg may be required If you are a motivated RN ready to excel in cardiovascular critical care and support diverse patient needs, we encourage you to apply.
