We are seeking a Board Certified, licensed OB/GYN Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, runs for 48 weeks, and offers 24-hour in-house shifts, approximately 5 to 7 shifts per month. Join a respected, Baby-Friendly health system with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staffed by board-certified neonatologists. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 48 weeks Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist Schedule: 24-hour in-house on-call shifts, 5 to 7 shifts per month, 6-month initial duration Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care as an OB/GYN Hospitalist Manage labor and delivery cases, including high-risk pregnancies Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including board-certified neonatologists in the level III NICU Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies Participate in hospital-based rounds and consultations Ensure adherence to Baby-Friendly hospital protocols and standards Additional Information Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology required Must possess a current California medical license Current AHA certification in CPR required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
