Pacific Coast Companies, Inc. is a dedicated team of professionals that provide a comprehensive range of business services and support to the Pacific Coast Building Products family of companies and their customers.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the overall success and maturity of the Cybersecurity Program at PCCI. The Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for personnel management as well as facilitating the work of a cross organizational, cross functional team. Responsibilities include developing program strategy, roadmaps and tactical implementation plans for Cyber tools, technologies and processes. A successful candidate will be well versed in stakeholder management and have general experience in the risk management concepts and methodologies. Understanding fundamental enterprise IT technologies and processes is a plus.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works with minimal supervision from Director of Technology & Cyber Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: may include some or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for the success of the Cybersecurity Program and associated capabilities for Pacific Coast Companies.
  • Develop and implement program strategies, management of day to day Cybersecurity Operations and implementation of the Cybersecurity roadmap.
  • Management of Cybersecurity budget.
  • Responsible for Cybersecurity Incident Response and associated technologies and processes.
  • Oversight and ongoing continuous improvement of security control capabilities including but not limited to SIEM / SOC, Vulnerability mgmt. and patching capabilities, multifactor authentication, NW security and EDR.
  • Program management of the BU, Disaster Recovery and delivery of business continuity plans.
  • Development and delivery of a robust security training and awareness program is a critical function of the role.
    QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and five (5) years related experience and/or training; or n equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. n Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. n Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, co-workers and vendors.
    • Math Ability: Ability to apply advance mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, and quadratic equations. n Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
      • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. n Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
      • Computer Skills: Must be able to operate a personal computer and other various standard office machines and equipment necessary to complete duties. n Must have knowledge of computer and other automated systems; and working knowledge of the principles and practices of systems analysis.
