Your Role The Markets Growth Program Manager, Principal owns the end-to-end front end strategy, design, and delivery of our Wellvolution member experience. Wellvolution is our digital platform that serves as a gateway to Blue Shield's Lifestyle Medicine programs. In this role you are accountable for enhancing and upholding the user experience for the Wellvolution platform by architecting experiences and building capabilities that will positively impact our users across Wellvolution digital properties, including our corporate website, member portal, and the Blue Shield mobile apps. Your focus will span across the end-to-end user journey of visual, UI, and UX design to eliminate friction within the user journey and deliver top-notch execution of great user experiences that deliver business results.All candidates must submit a portfolio to be considered. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Markets Growth. Your Work In this role, you will:

  • Operate at a strategic business level to ensures Wellvolution digital roadmap are in line with MindBody Medicine and Blue Shield's strategic goals
  • Act as a subject matter expert to create digital experiences that help Blue Shield's Wellvolution users understand their benefits and manage their health and wellness journey
  • Understand industry trends and user expectations using quantitative and qualitative data, analytics, user testing, and research and translate these findings into opportunity moments that help define gaps in current digital experience, express user needs, and articulate solutions to improve the user's digital journey on our Wellvolution digital platform and portal
  • Drive innovation for future improvements, new features, and functionality that drive increased user engagement and enhanced business value proposition
  • Advocate for and be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving user experiences and be the voice of users as they navigate our Wellvolution digital platform
  • Lead and participate in the creation of user stories, personas, and storyboards
  • Use market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings to assist in developing user-centered design, scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements Qualifications - ExternalYour Knowledge and Experience
    • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • Requires at least 10 years of prior front end UI/UX experience
    • Master's degree preferred
    • Healthcare technology experience is preferred
    • Understanding of health care technology systems and integration (eligibility, claims, product configuration, single-sign-on)
    • Demonstrated ability to document current and future state user experience journey, including task and gap analyses, content analysis and strategy and feature/functionality matrices, usage scenarios, site maps, wireframes, flow diagrams and user-requirements documents.
    • Demonstrated ability to design the UI/UX architecture, interface, and interaction flow of applications and experiences.
    • Visual design expertise demonstrated through the ability to develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, mockups, click-throughs, and prototypes.
    • Experience in designing cross platform experiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to implement a variety of user-centered design methodologies and deliverables such as journey mapping, facilitating team brainstorms, participating in and synthesizing research, framework design, prototyping, personas, storyboards, journey maps, scenarios, flowcharts, and design specifications.
    • Demonstrated ability to create digital product roadmaps and define, develop, and measure success metrics.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead innovation and design thinking sessions.
    • Strong creative and analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business and user needs and translate them into digital experiences with attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, directors, managers, and subject matter experts.
    • Able to function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness, and acceptability.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a virtual team and adapt to a culture of learning and transformation.
    • Experience in digital marketing such a SEO and paid search display
    • Demonstrated ability to develop prototypes that materialize and clearly articulate conceptual designs that support usability testing that informs optimized design.
    • Experience with consumer brand experience design and an understanding of storytelling.
    • Demonstrated ability to utilize and evolve design standards and patterns to create a unified experience and support the design and style guidelines in adherence with the company brand standards.
    • Demonstrated ability to use prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Balsamiq, InVision, or Zeplin. Our Values
