City Wide Property Services, Inc. currently has an opening for a Landscape Operations Manager to join our expanding team in the Sacramento area!

For over two decades, City Wide has been a trusted partner for property and facility managers throughout California, providing commercial properties with first-class maintenance and service repairs.

Summary:

The Landscape Operations Manager collaborates with Property Managers/Clients and Business Development team members to create needs-based solutions for the client pertaining to landscape maintenance services on commercial properties. Key functions of the job include managing existing business, creating maintenance tickets, and maintaining a high level of service by keeping a positive client experience for commercial relationships within the assigned geographic area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Property/Client Relations

Creating proposals for new and existing landscaping services for commercial retail, office, warehouse, and HOA applications.
Inspecting all field work; analyzing and resolving problems.
Ensuring that job site quality and appearance meet client and company standards
Understanding client needs via regular communication
Inspecting properties prior to scheduled services and preparing specific action plans for service, adjusting service schedules as needed.
Monitoring irrigation systems, identifying problems or necessary repairs, and communicating recommendations to the appropriate party
Ensuring that all landscape services are delivered according to contract specifications, within budget, and on schedule

Employee Relations

Identifying staffing needs and preparing daily crew schedules
Coaching, evaluating, and training staff and field workers in the performance of landscape services.
Evaluating employee safety data and implementing methods to improve safe workplace practices; monitoring safety records; ensuring employees attend safety meetings; assisting and training Crew Leaders in the management of safety

Company Reporting/Standards

Must communicate with both senior and executive team on operations and management
Maintaining accurate daily and weekly Lead activity logs; updating production tracking reports and generating other related reports as needed.
Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures related to the proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for landscape equipment
Implementing methods to improve safe workplace practices and monitoring safety records
Working collaboratively with others; fostering a positive "people-oriented" environment
Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting company standards

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience with Landscape, Irrigation, and Construction production techniques
Expert knowledge of construction landscape maintenance, tools, machinery - Irrigation systems, equipment utilization, and time management skills
Strong conflict resolution and critical thinking skills
Excellent knowledge of State and Federal landscaping and zoning laws and regulations
Experience in Customer Service interaction
Strong work ethics and punctuality
Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred, but not required
