Sierra Health and Wellness Centers has an exciting opportunity for a Program Director in our Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Facility in Rancho Cordova, CA. If so, please keep reading!Description: The Outpatient Program Director is essentially responsible for overseeing the operations of all outpatient facilities, engaging in staff and client interactions in order to assist in developing a structured environment and upholding all policies and procedures at SHWC. The Outpatient Program Director will be required to oversee all compliance at the facility and make sure it is running in accordance to the operations manual. As the primary leader, the Outpatient Program Director is responsible to build the morale of the team by implementing incentive programs and other peer to peer activities that encourage an increase of productivity and team building. Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee all scheduled program activities, including introducing and implementing new program requirements that have been approved by upper management. Training and scheduling of staff members.Assist in new intake procedures for new patients, ensuring patients and new admits have had all required tasks completed and that billing efforts and patient care are optimized.Maintaining treatment/supplemental proficiency hours. This is accomplished by enforcing program schedule by making sure groups are held on time and one on ones have been accomplished for the week.Providing the Senior Administration with weekly staff and facility reports to record the productivity of the program and staff members.Ensure all budgeting and finances be overseen and completed on a monthly basis.Engage in community outreach when needed. This includes making connections with local hospitals, clinics, unions, employers and other potential referral source.Assist staff in crisis intervention and maintain proper protocol for each incident by reporting in a timely manner.Maintain staff deadlines with documentation and reporting into the Electronic Health Records to ensure optimal billing.Ensure all facility grounds is in compliance by overseeing agencies, and tracking scheduled inspections such as administrative walk-throughs, including fire, safety code inspections, and Department of Healthcare Services certification.Facilitating Staff meetings and offering leadership and guidance to all staff membersActs as a clinical lead responsible for:Ensuring clinical programming meets all quality and certification standardsManaging therapy schedulesProviding clinical supervision, consultation, and training to masters level therapists and SUD counselorsCrisis intervention, AMA response, and service recovery opportunitiesLeading weekly clinical treatment teamsCompletion of clinical documentation and weekly chart auditingFormal clinical supervision Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reportsAttends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issuesParticipates in process improvement for clinical programming Conducts outcome assessments, collects data, and analyzes the dataMaintain confidential information in accordance with legal standards Attends community functions and makes presentationsRequired Skills: Expert communication skills and leadership abilities.Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds, working at distinct levels.Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and continuity of the program and of consideration and respect of clients. The ability to multitask and ensure all requirement of insurance companies are met.Competencies:Principles, procedures, techniques, trends of clinical and casework services, counseling, and treatment.Social aspects and characteristics of mental and emotional disturbances.Principles of mental health education.Theories and causes of substance abuse.A wide variety of therapeutic and treatment approaches for persons with mental and emotional problems.Leadership and supervision qualities and skills.Scope, availability, and activities of community resources, including other mental health and social service agencies.Current trends in mental hygiene, mental health, public health, and social services, including State and Federal programs in these areas.Prior knowledge of insurance billing preferred.Education and minimum qualification: Must possess a Doctorate in a Behavioral Health discipline.Candidate must have 5+ years of experience in Behavioral Therapy and/or social work.Must be familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.Certification/ Registration in drug and alcohol counseling through an approved Department of Health Care licensing board plus minimum of two years experience supporting alcohol and drug treatment programs, with at least one year in a residential facility.Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification. Proficiency with computer office productivity tools--- Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc..
