Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or
equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience designing RF
solutions for consumer electronics, or 1 year of experience with an
advanced degree. Experience in RF design, board-level and firmware
debug, schematic creation, and PCB design. Experience with
simulation tools or circuit simulation capability (i.e., ADS,
HFSS). Experience using RF equipment such as spectrum analyzers,
network analyzers and communication test boxes. Preferred
qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering,
Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Experience with
conducted and radiated measurements at RF frequencies. Knowledge of
wireless communication systems, such as 5G nR, LTE, etc. Knowledge
of Python or other programming or scripting languages. Excellent
board-level and firmware debug skills. Excellent communication and

As an Radio Frequency (RF) Hardware Engineer, you will be part of
our design team building Pixel phones. You will have RF systems
design knowledge and experience building and shipping CE products.
You will also have knowledge of system architecture. You will be
involved in cross-functional team engagement to achieve the lowest
possible cost and best RF performance. The Google Pixel team
focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile
experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices
and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques,
products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes
bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence,
software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create
transformative experiences for users across the world. The US base
salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 bonus
equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,
and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can

Frequency (RF) hardware solutions for Pixel phones. Design for
volume manufacturing and support factory engineers from prototyping
to product launch. Be responsible for PCB design for optimal RF
performance. Work with component vendors and partners to develop
the RF front end. Travel internationally up to 10% of the time as
needed. Support certification and compliance issues.
