Founding Applied AI/ML EngineerI'm helping an early-stage AI startup find their first Founding Applied AI/ML Engineer. The team is rethinking how B2B companies manage customer relationships-using AI agents to rebuild customer operations from the ground up, not just augmenting humans but replacing entire layers of outdated systems. The goal is to enable high-touch, personalized service at scale.You'd be working directly with the technical co-founder and have a huge influence on product architecture and engineering culture from day one.Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing the company's core AI agent architecture
• Building RAG pipelines for enterprise knowledge integration
• Creating contextual memory and knowledge graphs that evolve with use
• Implementing systems for AI observability, sentiment analysis, and predictive modeling
• Driving continuous performance improvements through smart feedback loopsTech stack:Python (FastAPI, SQLModel, Celery), PostgreSQL + pgvector, Redis, React (Vite), Render, LangGraph, Agno, BetterStack, LangfuseIdeal profile:
  • Strong background in applied ML / generative AI
  • Comfortable in zero-to-one environments
  • Wants significant ownership and impact
