Job Description:

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer, Data Reliability.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop a platform for incident observability and automation, ensuring high-quality data models and monitoring reports
Lead project efforts, set deliverables, review design documents, and mentor junior team members
Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain and improve big data pipeline infrastructure, focusing on performance tuning and incident response

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience with mission-critical data pipelines and ETL systems, including big data technologies like AWS, Hadoop, Hive, and Snowflake
Expertise in Data Engineering languages such as Python, Scala, Java, SQL, and experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow
Deep understanding of end-to-end pipeline design and implementation
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins is preferred
