Year Up is seeking a Programming JOB Training Program Instructor to join our mission-driven organization. This role involves mentoring and teaching young adults aimed at bridging the opportunity divide. As an instructor, you will deliver educational programs that integrate hands-on training with classroom learning in programming. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference and fostering inclusive growth in the tech sector. Develop and teach programming curriculum in languages including but not limited to Java, Python, and JavaScript. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance instructional materials and practices. Assist in the integration of academic learning with practical workplace experiences. Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure innovative and effective pedagogical approaches. Expertise in various programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt teaching methodologies to meet individual student needs Proficiency in curriculum development and assessment Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Teacher in a relevant state (if applicable)
