position will provide coordination for Franklin Templeton's (FT)
global product development and governance efforts, supporting all
investment vehicles across the firm's domestic, international,
retail, and institutional business channels. This position
interacts directly with leaders, executives, and business partners
to recommend, validate, and coordinate product and pricing
proposals for the firm's Global Product Committee (GPC); while
ensuring that FT has a complete, competitive, profitable and
strategically sound product line. This position will coordinate the
approval of product development initiatives, conduct pricing, and
profitability analysis, while interfacing with
divisions/departments across FT. In addition, this position will
support the Product Management department by coordinating,
contributing to, and being responsible for the successful delivery
of low to medium complexity business initiatives and/or
departmental projects. This position will collaborate with GPS
colleagues and business partners to develop the business
initiative/project approach, while ensuring that the initiatives
and projects are successfully executed according to the goals,
objectives, and timelines.This position requires the ability to
work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple streams of
work simultaneously. The position also requires excellent attention
to detail, strong organizational, planning and communication
skills, while being an effective collaborator and business
partner.This position performs defined assignments using existing
procedures and receives instruction, guidance, and direction from
more senior level roles.What are the ongoing responsibilities of a
Global Product Governance Analyst?Global Product Committee and GPC
Seed Pool:
- Work closely with cross enterprise teams to support product and
pricing requests sent to the GCP
- On a regular basis, partner with Product
Management/Development, Distribution, Legal, Marketing, Finance,
and Operational groups to coordinate and support product and
pricing proposals.
- Develop key strategic messages, themes, and metrics regarding
the GPC for presentations given to executives/leaders
- Work directly on product initiatives that directly impact FT's
business strategy. Recognize and maintain a level of discretion and
diplomacy as you work with leaders on confidential or sensitive
product and pricing opportunities.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the product
approval templates and various tools for departments to use
globally.
- Monitor and ensure that the product approval process follows
FT's corporate governance standards. This is a crucial
responsibility for the firm's global compliance requirements.
- Develop agendas, coordinate proposals, document minutes, and
distribute reports for GPC meetings.
- Foster transparency and act as a liaison between the GPC and
various departments.
- Conduct product and/or pricing and profitability analysis for
the development of global product/pricing standards across FT.
- Work closely with Corporate Treasury, provide analysis and
support for the maintenance and administration of the firm's GPC
seed pool. This task is important to the product development
process.
- Research and respond to executive inquiries on product and
pricing requests. This includes ongoing and ad hoc analysis while
interfacing with various corporate and product development
divisions.
- Develop executive level product and pricing presentations to
support the GPC, including product trends and analysis.
- Develop and produce routine reports for the GPC, including
quarterly GPC dashboards, annual GPC planning meetings, and adhoc
requests.
- Coordinate the annual product and pricing audits for Legal,
Tax, and Finance and Compliance.
- Complete monthly review of GPC seed transactions and updates to
the GPC seed pool database.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc seed reporting for the
Product Development Capital Committee and business partners
- Maintain the GPC's Share Point site.Other Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with global product strategy colleagues and cross
enterprise teams to manage, coordinate and implement a variety of
small to medium, product related business initiatives and
departmental projects.
- Develop, complete, and present a variety of business
initiative/departmental project communications and status reports
to all stakeholders.
- Develop and support change management plans.
- Recognize and maintain a level of confidentiality and diplomacy
when working with senior leaders, colleagues and business partners
on sensitive/confidential initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between GPG and business partners.
- Develop and complete executive communications, summaries, and
presentations.
- Develop and complete business status and trend reports.
- Research and respond to inquiries regarding product-related
requests. This includes ongoing or ad hoc related reports,
analysis, or communications.What ideal qualifications, skills and
experience would help someone to be successful?
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related
field
- 2-5 years of related experience
- Knowledge of investment products (Mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs,
Sub-advised accounts, etc)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word,
PowerPoint)
- Power BI experience a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned
duties
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyses
- Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with
department guidelines
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team
environment
- This individual must be prepared to work in a fast-paced
environment and demonstrate ability to manage multiple streams of
work simultaneously.
- Ability to deliver results within the established timeframes
while managing multiple priorities.
- Leads small/medium project teams, and/or small/medium sub-teams

with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a
discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks.
There are several factors taken into consideration in making
compensation decisions including but not limited to location,
job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin
Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of
compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in
determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to
